Podstakannik were commonly used to drink tea on trains in Russia during the early & mid 1900s. They proved to be much more stable than glassware and cups, something that was much appreciated by railroad passengers and workers.
Set includes - 3 glasses, 3+1 bonus metal glass holder, 5 coasters, matching teapot with lid, multipurpose ice bucket, and serving tray.
Preowned condition, the metal glass holders, teapot, and multipurpose bucket have been lightly cleaned but are still a little bit tarnished and could use a more thorough cleaning.
